History
This quilt was begun in 2011 as one block for a cushion to take on a holiday as hand sewing. From there it grew and grew and now fits our bed.
Awards include Quilt West Exhibition 2012 'Best of Show' together with First Prize 'Traditional Mainly Applique Professional'.
Description
Five large hand appliqued blocks on point with appliqued borders.
Original design, fused applique, using fabrics purchased whilst holidaying in Bali.
All hand appliqued, then machine quilted on a domestic sewing machine.
