Colours of the Day – Noon

History

Triptych, large size wall installation. Art-Textile.
"I am fascinated at the play of light at different times of the day and how it affects the environment where I live in Sydney, Australia. This is more obvious to me since a recent trip to Ireland and England. How differently and strongly, the colour and strength of light defines my sense of place. Here, shadows have harder edges and the contrasts are greater and the tones move faster across the land as the sun rises quickly and higher in the sky. Evening is short but there is a moment of gently colour and stillness before the sun quickly disappears." Yvonne Line 2014
