History
I was inspired by a trip to Queensland’s Coral Cayes and Brampton Island. As I sat on the beach I felt so insignificant because of the strength of the light and the colours of the sea and sand. A very powerful moment for me.

Description
Machine pieced, quilt-as-you-go method, machine appliqué, hand quilted and finished. Materials include wool, corduroy, satin, taffeta, cotton, blends and found screen prints. Polyester wadding.
