History

The need to produce this quilt came from reading ‘The Women’s Wheel of Life’, a trip to Darwin, the purchase of a piece of Tiwi Island screen printed cloth and the desire to create a lush green low maintenance garden at home. The common green background fabric has some 200 different fabrics applied to create the design, reflecting the Tiwi Island cloth on the rear.
