First Load of the Day

History

During a trip to the west coast of Tasmania stopping at Lake Peddar and the Gordon River, I was devastated by the ‘clear felling’ of forests and the subsequent planting of Radiata Pine. Numerous roads had been gouged into the forests for access for the logging trucks. They became ‘king of the road’ on the bitumen and they stopped for no one.
