FOREST UNDERSTORY created in 2015 and a Finalist in the OZQUILT NETWORK Exhibition ART QUILT AUSTRALIA at the Wool Museum in Geelong VIC 2015.

Description
This Quilt is of a contemporary design using complex cotton cloth created by the artist, using unique hand drawn then screen printed patterns and hand painted. The panel was then cut into six squares and appliqued, spaced apart onto a white cotton backing, wadding and quilt back. Part of some squares have small squares cut out to reveal the printed backing fabric. Small squares were then appliqued onto other large squares. Finished surface fabric was embellished by hand stitching and embroidery by artist
