Made from about 1960 onwards, by Mrs Jean Chaffe for her daughter Leila Craig. "The hexagons are all of my childhood clothes, school uniforms, glory box clothes, wedding dress and bridesmaid dress, school sewing fabric, Mum's aprons, brother's shirts, mine and my sister's dresses."

Description
Patchwork quilt of hexagon patches in a variety of colours and fabrics, including cottons, wool, lace, nylon. Edging is of yellow cotton. It is backed but there is no filling or padding.
