History

Roses are used as decorative planting at the ends of the rows of vines in many Hunter Valley vineyards. The totally red quilt was made for the Harvest Festival in the Hunter Valley 2003

Description

Materials: Commercial and hand painted silks and glass beads
Techniques: Fused appliqué, beading and machine quilting
Rear fabric is a recycled red/orange ikat silk with felt interliner
