History

The quilt was made by Ada M Samaniego for her daughter La Homa Boswell. It was a wedding quilt and was made in Colorado USA early in 1930. It is now owned by the maker's granddaughter La Dona Anick. It is not used.

Description

Lone Star quilt constructed from plain and patterned materials. Hand pieced and hand quilted. There is no padding and the backing is cotton homespun.
