History

Cane toads were introduced to the sugar cane fields as a way of managing pests. The cane toad has now eradicated all other forms of life in the Top End of Australia and is marching west and south.

Materials: recycled silk kimono, silk organza
Techniques: heat set map, natural and crayon on organza, machine appliqué and machine stitching
