History
The quilt was possibly made by Mrs R Gleghorn in Box Hill, Victoria, in the 1920s. It was purchased at the auction of the deceased estate of Ronald Gleghorn in 1999 by the present owner. It is not used now. Councillor Ronald Gleghorn was a past mayor of Box Hill. The house was the original one he and his wife built in the 1920s and all the furniture was of that period. The quilt was stored with old linen but its precise history is not known.
