History
This quilt was begun during a dark period of my life when I needed a project, however, I had no idea it would take 10 years to complete. It challenged me in so many ways but helped me to persevere and finish it. Perseverance has now been replaced by love and contentment.
Description
Entirely made by hand with nearly 10,000 1" squares pieced over papers, it is hand quilted in the centre with a 'crows foot' stitch used on each square. This quilt won 'Best of Show' for QuiltWest 2014, First prize Traditional Amateur, Retaining The Tradition and Members Choice Award.
