History

The skins were collected and tanned by the donor's father in the late 1920s and early 1930s in the Wandering-Pingelly-Popanyinning area of Western Australia where he was a farmer.

Description

Possum skin rug made from rows of possum pelts sewn to a woollen blue checked blanket.
