Between 1995 and 1997, I commuted between Canberra and Sydney on a weekly basis and missed the smell and draw of the sea. My inspiration is the marine environment around Australia, an island where most people live on the coast. I find the water calming, refreshing and reinvigorating.

Made using Commercial silks, polyester, taffeta, and Techniques: Fused appliqué, and machine quilting
