History

Made about 1967 and owned by Win Groves at Pingrup, Western Australia. "Made in 1967 from scraps of dress [and] pyjama fabrics, used as [a] cover for [the] bed. Made as [a] necessity on [the] farm. Single bed size. Originally backed with pieces of dress skirts of nylon. As this frayed, it was cut off later. Some light furnishing scraps also used. Machine pieced on treadle 'Singer' sewing machine."
