Large scale textile art work. "My morning walks take me along pathways, quiet, before the rush of the day. The light is soft and my shadow strengthens with the rise of the sun. There are splashes of colour in some gardens. I collected leaves at different times of the year. Sometimes it has rained and they lie sodden on the roads." Yvonne Line 2017.
Description
Technique: Mono printing and stenciling with found leaves. Rough edged pieces with minimum cutting. Rough hand appliqué onto a polyester wadding, with hanging threads, and overstitch finishing.
Materials: Wool, corduroy, velvet, cotton and blends, satin, taffeta. Polyester wadding.
