History
Made in 1945 or 1946 by Eileen (Helen) Alexander in Warrandyte, Victoria, as a child's quilt. Owned by her daughter Sue Batzloff (born Alexander). Eileen (Helen) Alexander used a treadle sewing machine [that is] still in the family, to make this and other quilts and all family clothing. Eileen is a competent knitter, embroiderer, mender etc. and there are examples extant of her work.
