History

The rug was made at Nepabunna South Australia around 1939. It was donated to the South Australian Museum by Charles P Mountford in 1939. It is now part of the South Australian Museum's Australian Aboriginal Ethnographic Collection.

Description

Skin rug of kangaroo or wallaby skins. Rectangular pieces stitched together.
