History"Even though I live in an urban environment, the country is only a few minutes away. Fires ringed Campbelltown, New South Wales for several weeks and they raged in other parts of the state and country at the time. I had also experience a bushfire first hand in Leura, on the Blue Mountains, NSW where the fire raged into a wide area of residential homes and shops. I was twelve years old and at the local school and we were not told what was going on. The emotion of fear for family, friends and home I felt at that time came back to me."
